Is it normal for my fiance and i to sleep in separate rooms?

my fiance and i sleep in separate rooms most nights. he sleeps on the couch in the living room and i on the bed in the bedroom, but if its too cold for me, i'll sleep on the bare floor in the living room. if i do that he gets up and sleeps in the bed in the other room. he says snoring isnt the problem. he says we just dont have a big enough bed, but he wont get his queen size mattress and put it in our house. is this normal? am i just worrying about nothing? i feel alienated, unwanted and lonely all the time...
