What software is best for me?

I have a M-Audio Axiom 61 MiDi Keyboard and a PC computer. I am in the process of learning how to make Dubstep and other electronic music genres what software should I use to get the most from my midi controller and create the music I want to. Any and all imfo you may be able to give would be great.
